Applications for 2021 Spring semester Japanese Language Course for Beginners (JLCB) are now open!
These courses are for Kumamoto University student/faculty/researcher or their spouses.
Kurokami Campus JLCB (Spring-session 1)
- Tuesdays & Fridays from June 4th to August 10th 14:00-16:10
- Entry level (Kumamoto University Japanese Level: K1, for those who never learned Japanese)
- Course capacity of 6 people. *If the applicant number exceeds, participants will be selected by a lottery.

Kurokami Campus Kanji 1 (Spring)
- Thursdays from June 3rd to July 29th 12:50 – 15:00
- Beginner level (Kumamoto University Japanese Level: K2, who has completed K1 or Marugoto textbook before)
- Course capacity of 6 people. *If the applicant number exceeds, participants will be selected by a lottery.
