Applications for 2022 Spring semester Japanese Language Course for Beginners (JLCB) are now open!
These courses are for Kumamoto University student/faculty/researcher or their spouses.
Pre-session
- May 31st, June 1st, & June 2nd @13:00-14:00 *Office Hour: 14:00-15:00
- Entry level (Kumamoto University Japanese Level: K1, for those who never learned Japanese)
- Course capacity of 10 people. *If the applicant number exceeds, participants will be selected by a lottery.

Step 1(Spring)
- Mondays &Thursdays from June 6th to July 11th @13:00-14:00 *Office Hour: 14:00-15:00
- Entry level (Kumamoto University Japanese Level: K1, for those who knows Hiragana & Katakana or has joined the pre-session)
- Course capacity of 10 people. *If the applicant number exceeds, participants will be selected by a lottery.

- Course capacity of 10 people. *If the applicant number exceeds, participants will be selected by a lottery.

- 最大受講者数10人まで ※最大人数を超えた場合は抽選にて受講者を決定

2022 Welcome Party (Spring) for International Students
We will hold Welcome Party (Spring) for International Students on Saturday, June 11 , 2022.
New and current students are welcome! It is a good opportunity to connect with not only KU students but also the students of other universities in Kumamoto Prefecture.
