{"id":1238,"date":"2016-02-10T12:17:56","date_gmt":"2016-02-10T03:17:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.c3.kumamoto-u.ac.jp\/?p=1238"},"modified":"2017-03-17T17:41:14","modified_gmt":"2017-03-17T08:41:14","slug":"kumamoto-university-international-students-interact-local-high-school-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.c3.kumamoto-u.ac.jp\/en\/1238\/","title":{"rendered":"Kumamoto University International Students Interact Local High School Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On January 28, ten researchers from the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Kumamoto University visited Dai-Ni High School, a local high school in Kumamoto which has been designated as a \u201cSuper Science High School\u201d by the Japanese government.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The researchers listened as students of Dai-Ni High School presented their research topics in English, and then asked questions about the scientific process and results of each topic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The high school students and researchers overcame challenging language barriers to enjoy scientific communication in English.
